 Sunullah Gaybi from Kütahya is one of the important representatives of Turkish Sufi poetry. Contrary to his contemporaries, he drew attention with his simple and clear Turkish and philosophical subjects in his poems.

 The name Gaybi is also the name of the cadi lord who is the main character of Altar Kaplan's novel "The Village of the Caliphs" and it was designed in reference to him.
